The desire to share my experience in order to guide others to their own possibilities is what led me to coaching.
Kristina Coggins has been led by her creative curiosities throughout her life.
She was a professional actress for 13 years working on stage, television, and voiceovers. Her love of literature prompted her to become an audiobook narrator and producer, where she voiced the characters of Disney movies for Korean English language learners. She directed young people in plays and musicals, helped them tell their own stories using the Hero’s Journey model. While raising her family, she began oil painting, a love which she continues to grow. She works with clay, yarn, paints, chalk, calligraphy, mud, actually anything lying around. She also writes and performs her personal stories, and is an active member in a memoir group.
After her own divorce, she felt motivated to help others get through their loss. Her personal healing and the process she created for herself, led her to work with others in the middle of difficult transitions.
2015 she received her coaching training through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) where she began coaching those going through divorce and found that when they started to recognize and honor their creativity, their energy and confidence returned full force.
Currently, she works with clients on their way to healing, empowerment, and spiritual connection through creative expression.
Her book Creative Awakening was conceived after witnessing her client’s transformation when they begin to create again.
Kristina has two wildly creative grown children who continue to teach and inspire her. In spite of her many attempts, she has never been able to sing like Patsy Cline, nor has she ever mastered the art of packing light.
